Gary’s in for some siege-and-onion stuffing

There are Yuletide shots in Weatherfield – but not the boozy kind. After Derek slips up, Gary’s forced to admit he owns the factory. He’s livid and vindictively ties Derek up, so he misses his flight to Florida. But Derek doesn’t take it lying down, oh no. Grabbing an antique gun from the furniture shop, he goes on the hunt for the man who ruined his life, resulting in a dramatic armed siege. Blimey.

Maya does (not-so) secret Santa

Jacob gets a special delivery on Christmas Day. No, not an Xbox game – a baby. Yes, really. He finds it on the doorstep along with a note from Maya claiming it’s his. David understandably thinks it’s a lie and demands he gets a DNA test. The men of Emmerdale should have ordered a job lot, as Graham receives the results of his test, and ominously heads to Home Farm to confront Andrea and Kim.

Linda gets into the festive spirits

We’ve been gearing up for this moment for weeks, and on Christmas Eve, Phil finally finds out the truth – that Keanu stuck his dipstick in Sharon’s engine, and the baby is his! Cue Phil turning an alarming shade of puce and exacting his revenge on Christmas Day. Also, Martin and Tubbs’ dodgy job goes very wrong, and boozed-up Linda hits rock bottom with her drinking. Wah.

Darren’s heading for divorceville

There’s a Christmas miracle in store for Sienna as she discovers that Liberty is with child, but unfortunately, a mishap with a drone looks set to burst her bubble. Darren is annoyed when he gets a petition for divorce from Nancy and goes to confront her, while Cindy does her best to flaunt her new online love interest in front of Luke’s face. Ho, ho, ho, merry Christmas, one and all!
