Marriage still on rocky ground
Things are frosty in the Timberlake/biel household, and we’re honestly not that surprised. After Justin, 38, was seen holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright a few weeks ago, an insider tells us that while the couple were planning another baby, Jessica, 37, has put those plans on hold. “Justin wanted to expand the family and Jessica was on board with it. But that’s off the table now, and Justin only has himself to blame,” we’re told.
The couple – who have been married since 2012 – are already parents to four-year-old son Silas, and we’re told they had wanted to give him a sibling. That is until Justin’s behaviour with his 30-year-old co-star finally seemed to make Jessica snap. “There’s no way that Jess would bring a child into the world in the current circumstances,” says the source. “It sucks for her as much as Justin, because Jessica had her heart set on being pregnant by early to mid 2020 at the latest. The common view among Justin and Jessica’s friends is that he’s been getting away with too much for years, and he’ll be lucky if she even sticks around.”
After the incriminating pictures of the singer emerged, the usually highly private star released a statement saying, “I drank way too much that night and I regret my behaviour. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologise to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be.” ■
