WEDDING NO.5 FOR PAMMY

As they say, fifth time’s a charm

-

Pamela Anderson proved to us all last week that fairy tales can happen – it might just take a few decades and a handful of divorces to get there. The 52-yearold model and actress married film producer Jon Peters last week in a secret ceremony. Pamela and the 74 year old met over 30 years ago at the Playboy Mansion in the late ’80s and dated for a short time. The pair only reunited romantically a few months ago, and got hitched in a small ceremony with their children in attendance. Jon – who has produced blockbusters such as the Superman and Batman franchises – said of his new bride, “There are beautiful girls everywhere. I could have my pick, but – for 35 years – I’ve only wanted Pamela. She makes me wild – in a good way.”

Pamela expressed her love for her new husband in a “poem” she wrote herself. “Jon is the original ‘bad boy’ of Hollywood – no one compares – I love him deeply like family. His life used to scare me. So much for a girl like me. Now I’ve seen more of life and realise. He’s been there all along. Never failed me – I’m ready now and he’s ready too. We understand and respect each other. We love each other without conditions. I’m a lucky woman.

Proof God has a plan.” Romantic.

The marriage is fifth time lucky for both Pam and Jon. The producer – who famously dated Barbra Streisand in the ’70s – has three children from two of his four marriages. Pamela has had a rocky time with her marriages. She first got hitched to drummer Tommy Lee after knowing him for just four days, and had two children with him. She was engaged to model Marcus Schenkenberg, but broke up with him before meeting husband number two – musician Kid Rock. She married pro poker player Rick Salomon – famous for making a sex tape with Paris Hilton – in 2007, but split from him a year later. She married him again in 2014, but they finished for good in 2017. Most recently, she was linked to the infamous Julian Assange and she also dated French footballer Adil Rami. But it seems she was always holding a candle for Jon. ■
