CHANNING LEAPS TO JESSIE’S DEFENCE
He seriously threw down the gauntlet for his lady
If you hadn’t realised that Channing Tatum and Jessie J were back together, last weekend the couple ensured we were up to date on their relationship status. Not only did the pair perfect their couple’s pose on the red carpet, but Channing valiantly proved his love for the singer by rushing to her defence when a troll commented on a loved-up snap of him and his gal.
The commenter clearly touched a nerve by bringing up Channing’s ex-wife Jenna Dewan as they wrote, “Jenna looks better with you”. Channing, 39, replied, “I don’t usually address shit like this… Why don’t you seriously think about what you’re doing? It’s hurtful and I ain’t about it”. In his rant, he called girlfriend Jessie an “infinite and untouchable beauty”. He continued, “Ain’t nobody more stunning and beautiful to look at but even more as a human than Jess. And yeah that includes my ex.”
Going back to clarify his comments, Channing wrote, “And just to be super clear for the other people that love to turn shit around. Jenna is beautiful and amazing in her own right. But [no one] is more beautiful or better than anyone else. Beauty isn’t measurable. It’s in the eye of the beholder.”
The impassioned tirade clearly impressed 31-year-old Jessie, who reunited with the actor after a twomonth split, as she replied to the thread, “My BABY! Horns OUT!” She later posted a tribute to her beau on Instagram, writing, “The way you love me and the way I love you and the way we feel it is all that matters.”
