Has it been hard watching Luke get pied off? Yeah, a little. He can be subdued in situations – sometimes the other people on the show are more vocal. He has come out of his shell, but it is a little bit like, “Ahhh, come on!”
Do you think Demi is a good choice? I think she seems like a really nice, sweet girl. He’s quite fun-loving and they like to have a laugh together, so it’s nice to see that, rather than too much seriousness in the relationship. Luke’s bromance with Luke T has been quite something. Has it made you jealous? [Laughs.] I am slightly jealous. Obviously, I’m happy that he’s made a friend in there –
I just hope he doesn’t take my place! I even said to my partner last night, “I am getting a little bit jealous of his friendship now”. Prior to him going into the villa, we spoke ten times a day. How do you think Luke will react to his popularity? Who doesn’t like to be liked? He rang me before he went in and said, “This sort of thing can make or break people…” And I said, “Luke, just be yourself and people will love you.” People might expect him to be a player, but he’s just a really nice guy. A lot of the love for him is about his personality – he’ll be really happy about that. I didn’t want him to come out of the villa and only be remembered for being a Justin Bieber lookalike. I think he’ll be very happy and very humbled. n
