Brad’s mum: ‘Don’t mess it up with Jen’
Jane says what we’re all thinking
It’s a universal truth that mums know best, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. So, Brad Pitt would be wise to listen to mum Jane, who’s been giving him an earful over his budding reunion with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston.
According to insiders, Mama Pitt has always been close to Jen, who was married to Brad for five years, before they split in 2005. And now that they’re apparently testing the waters of a full-blown romantic reconciliation, Jane’s got stern words for her son. Namely, don’t f**k it up.
“Jane’s so happy to see Brad and Jen on great terms again. She won’t stop telling Brad not to mess things up like he did before,” says a source close to the reunited exes, who have both been through second divorces since parting ways. “Jane and Jen always got on well, and kept in touch, even when Brad was married to Angelina [Jolie]. She’s now convinced it was written in the stars for them to have another chance of happiness. Brad appreciates where his mum is coming from, but this has touched a raw nerve, because it’s still early days and both he and Jen are finding all the attention stressful. He’s already dealing with so much unwanted advice from his Hollywood friends – the last thing he needs is his mum butting in on his love life.”
The exes haven’t been pictured together since THAT epic love-in backstage at the SAG Awards in January, but have reportedly been spending more time together in private. And, just like us, Jane’s got her eyes set on long-term love for the pair – and she’s not letting him forget it. Atta girl. ■
