It’s second time lucky for the Pricey’s ex
He may have had a slightly bumpy first stab at marriage – but it seems like Kieran Hayler’s ready to give everlasting commitment another go. Last week, Katie Price’s ex reportedly got down on bended knee and proposed to girlfriend Michelle Penticost while on holiday in the Maldives, weeks after it was revealed that he and Katie had finally reached an “amicable” divorce agreement. Michelle posted a snap of her engagement ring on Facebook, captioning it, “So today at sunset I became a fiancée.” Kieran then followed with the obligatory Champagne bubbles pic. Heartwarming.
The former stripper has been happily settled with Michelle since they went public in July 2018 – almost a year after he split from Katie, with whom he shares two children,jett, six, and Bunny, five. While his and Katie’s five-year relationship was plagued by claims that he’d cheated on her, he’s since reinvented himself as a fullycommitted family man, regularly posting loved-up snaps with Michelle, Jett, Bunny, and Michelle’s son from a previous relationship. The happy couple first met at the school gates, where their respective children attended. Last month, Kieran paid tribute to his now-fiancée, calling her “my best friend, my rock and my soul-mate.”
Meanwhile, Katie herself paid tribute to Kieran last month, saying he was “the first man not wanting anything from our divorce”, and wishing him “a happy future with Michelle”. Here’s hoping his husband skills second time round prove to be as impressive as his uncoupling skills. Congrats, you guys. ■
