Who is the mystery man putting a smile on Lisa Armstrong’s face?
She’s been through the absolute wringer over the past few years, ever since splitting from ex-husband Ant Mcpartlin in 2018 and becoming embroiled in a two-year divorce battle. But now that the bitter proceedings are over, Lisa Armstrong finally has some time and space to focus on the next chapter – and that could mean letting love back in. Go on, Lisa.
According to insiders, Lisa, who has joint custody of her and Ant’s Labrador Hurley, has set her eyes on a certain someone who she met behind the scenes while working as a TV make-up artist. As heat has told you, Lisa’s already made

efforts to move on in recent months, and she’s now planning to sell the £6million home she shared with Ant in Chiswick, west London, and move in with some girlfriends. But a new man would be a whole new step – so, unsurprisingly, she’s said to be taking things cautiously slow.
“There is one man who Lisa’s got close to recently,” says a friend of the 43 year old, who’s kept silent over the past few years while her former husband has publicly spoken about his new life with their former PA, Anne-marie Corbett. “She’s trying to keep it all under wraps, but she’s confided in a few friends that there could be a promising romance growing. It’s come completely out of the blue and really taken her by surprise – she feels as though this might finally be the thing that puts a smile on her face. All her friends are ecstatic, but she’s trying to play it all down because it’s still very early days.”
Last year, Lisa was linked to music executive Jeremy Hewitt and they enjoyed some time together. However, it has since been reported the pair were just friends, so this new man has come at the right time. And Lisa feels that she’s waited long enough since her split from Ant, who recently described Anne-marie as the love of his life and his “rock” throughout his battle with drink and drugs.
“Lisa feels it’s high time she had some romance,” we’re told. “Eventually she wants to start building a new life with a partner and put the painful past behind her. If things go well, she’s hoping that by summertime, she can go public with the romance.” ■
