Katie Price says she’s single, but a Dreamboy has moved into her new house...
Surely self-isolating with a stripper has its perks…
She’s turned a massive corner in her personal life in recent months, returning to the spotlight happier and healthier after a hiatus from social media. And Katie Price said as much last week, telling fans in a Youtube video that she was “back for good” and “stronger and better than ever” after “a really turbulent couple of months” – adding that she was now “very much single”.
But that hasn’t stopped us all questioning whether Katie’s new-found peace and happiness is also partly down to her friendship with personal trainer Al Warrell, who’s been living with the former glamour model since the beginning of lockdown.
Katie first got tongues wagging last week, after being spotted food-shopping with Al, who’s also a Dreamboys stripper, before featuring him in her first video as she returned to Youtube
Speaking to the camera, Katie revealed, “This is Al. Al is my trainer in isolation, he’s been training me and Harvey every day and we’ve been getting fit,” before challenging him to the “chubby bunny” challenge, where they had to stuff marshmallows into their mouths and guess which song each other was singing. The pair were clearly enjoying each other’s company, with Katie playfully asking Al, “Do you think I’m fun?” to which he smiled and said, “You’re a lot of fun.”
According to insiders, Al’s been a great pillar of support for Katie in
recent months, as she’s worked hard to turn her life around following a really rough year. In December, she was declared bankrupt, losing her so-called “mucky mansion” in the process and splitting from her on/off fiancé Kris Boyson. Then, earlier this year, she had an emergency stint at The Priory rehab centre after suffering with “severe stress”. Since then, she’s come back fighting, telling fans last week, “I’m a survivor. I’m ready to have fun again. Thanks to everyone who’s stuck by me. This is a new road for the fun Pricey. Never underestimate the Pricey, she’s back for good.”
However, despite her current optimism, it’s been a scary time for the 41 year old, who confirmed last week that she wasn’t with her four other children – Junior, 14, Princess, 12, Jett, six, and Bunny, five – in order to protect her eldest son Harvey, who has Prader-willi syndrome. “As Harvey is shielding due to being extremely vulnerable, I have agreed with their dads that the other children will remain with them for the time being,” she said. “I miss them all loads, but at least we get to Facetime every day.”
In these difficult times, Katie’s reportedly turned to Al for support – who insiders say is nothing more than her friend
– and has been enjoying his company in the luxury Surrey mansion that she’s been renting while her own home is under renovation.
A representative for Katie said last week, “Al moved into Katie’s temporary residence on 22 March, prior to lockdown,” but declined to comment further on the nature of their relationship. Either way, it seems that Al’s presence in Katie’s life is positive. She may be “very much single” for now, but, with the Pricey now “back for good”, who knows what the future holds.
We’re glad she’s feeling brighter and better. ■
