Jac & Dan’s surprise lockdown baby

They’re feeling all kinds of broody

- KATIE HOLLOWAY

Being stuck in a house together 24/7 can truly make or break some couples. Luckily, it seems to be doing wonders for Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne’s relationship, as an insider close to the couple tells us they’ve been thinking about adding to their brood. “Their friends have said they’ve been getting on so well under quarantine that they’ve been dropping hints about expanding their family,” we’re told.

The couple – who have been married since 2017 – have two daughters together, Ella, five, and Mia, 22 months. Dan also has son Teddy, seven, from a previous relationship. With the pair spending so much of their time at home – and Teddy going between his mum and dad’s houses – the insider says they’ve been loving the quality time together without one of them having to travel for work. And it seems all that family time has got them feeling broody.

“Jac has said that people shouldn’t be surprised if they come out of this the other side with some exciting news,” we’re told. “She and Dan have been talking a lot about their family, and being together like this has made them realise that they would love another baby – especially now as they have so much time on their hands.”

When a fan recently asked if Jac would like to do a maternity line as part of her clothing range, she replied that she definitely would “if I am ever pregnant” – before adding that she was not currently expecting. But, we’re told, it’s definitely something the couple are considering, especially after weathering some tough times in their relationship.

Jacqueline went through part of her last pregnancy without Dan, as the couple had split following rumours he’d cheated on her. And so it’s no surprise friends of the actress – who had to deal with more cheating allegations just after winning I’m A Celeb… last year – are worried about the idea of another baby.

We’re told, “Some people are worried Jac is going to put aside her career again just as it was taking off, but she doesn’t see it that way. She’s really thrilled about the idea and Dan is, too.

“Family is everything to Jac and she feels she and Dan would be properly anchored by another baby.” ■
