Baby joy for Katherine and Chris
A little Pratt is on the way
Katherine Schwarzenegger debuted her pregnancy bump last week, after it was revealed that the 30 year old is expecting her first child with husband Chris Pratt. Katherine – who is the daughter of actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger – first met Chris at church and the couple got married last June, just seven months into their relationship.
At the time, 40-year-old Chris confirmed their nuptials on Instagram, writing, “Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives… this morning we feel nothing but blessed.”
Earlier this year, 72-year-old Arnold – who was spotted out on a bike ride with his daughter and Chris last week – said that he was excited about becoming a grandfather. He revealed, “I don’t push it because I know it’s going to happen eventually. It’s up to Chris and her when they want to do that, but I’m looking forward to it, yes.”
And Chris and Katherine have also been keen to start a family. In February, Chris said, “[Katherine’s] a great stepmum. She’s, God willing, going to be a great mum one day. She’s got great parents, great siblings, she fills in all my many deficits.”
The baby is lucky enough to already have a big brother, as Chris is father to sevenyear-old Jack, his son with ex-wife Anna Faris. Chris and Anna were married for eight years before splitting in 2017. ■
