You should all know by now to never underestimate the Pricey. One minute, she’s been declared bankrupt, is single again after another messy break-up and is taking a much-needed hiatus from the spotlight. The next, she’s back – ballsier than ever and hunkering down with a personal trainer, who’s also a member of the Dreamboys stripper troupe.
Yes, despite facing some serious challenges earlier this year, Katie Price is back to her best. And, according to insiders, her grand return is thanks, in no small part, to said stripper – 22-year -old Al Warrell – who’s become Katie’s closest confidant during lockdown. And, while we’re told they’re just friends for now, there’s no denying that the Pricey’s always loved a toyboy. In other words, watch this space. “Katie thinks that Al is amazing and has been gushing about him to anyone who’ll listen,” says a source close to the star, who’s currently self-isolating with the PT and her eldest son Harvey, 17, in a rented mansion in Surrey. “They’re just friends at the moment, but he treats her how she feels she deserves to be treated and he’s very good with Harvey.”
Last week, Katie, 41, and Al, were pictured loading up on essentials, looking happy and relaxed – but it’s their LOL videos on her Youtube channel that have really got people talking. In a recent clip, entitled the “Not My Hands” make-up challenge, Katie sat in front of the camera, while Al crouched behind her and blindly applied beauty products to her
face. Earlier, she’d insisted to the cameras, “Al’s isolating in another room in the house – he’s exercising every day with me and Harvey.”
But our insider says that Al is far more important to Katie than she’s letting on. She’s been single since splitting from her on/off fiancé Kris Boyson in December (who’s now living with reality star Bianca Gascoigne) and although it was revealed last week that she has seen her kids with Peter Andre – Junior, 14, and Princess, 12 – she is distancing from her youngest, Jett, six, and five-year-old Bunny – to protect Harvey, who has Prader-willi syndrome. She’s also having to distance herself from mum Amy, who has a terminal lung condition. Under such circumstances, we’re told Al has been an amazing support – and it doesn’t hurt that he’s 100 per cent her type on paper. Her most recent long-term loves – Kris and ex-husband Kieran Hayler – were also Pts-turned-pricey toyboys.
“She feels he’s brought the spark back to her life and has rescued her from that awful place,” says the insider. “She also fancies him – who wouldn’t? – and he’s made her feel her attractive again. He’s her perfect man, so who knows what could happen?”
Knowing the Pricey, we can only imagine. ■
