She’s missing her cosmetic comforts…
As much as we’d happily believe Jennifer Aniston was an angel who fell from heaven to bless us with her presence on Earth, it turns out it takes quite a lot of work to be as glamorous, ageless, and as near perfect as the 51-year-old actress. An insider close to the A-lister tells us she’s having a bit of a panic about not being able to access all her usual beauty treatments.
“Jen has always prided herself on her ‘little and often’ approach, so having this huge pause in her maintenance programme has been tough for her,” says our source. “Ordinarily, she’ll have peels and non-invasive facials every month, and her hair and make-up is always professionally done. But, like the rest of the world, all that’s had to be put on hold.
And while Jen is grateful for what she has, we’re told she can’t wait to get dressed up and look great again. “Jen’s conscious that, in Hollywood, ageing gracefully has its downsides, and it’s hard to keep that optimism up when she can’t look her usual glamorous self,” says the insider. “She’s by no means a surgery nut, but she’s been getting tune-ups and light treatments for years.”
The source adds, “Her whole routine has been thrown upside down and the worst part of it is that there’s no end in sight.” ■
It’s that time of year when, under normal circumstances, we’d be counting down the minutes to our long-awaited vacay. So, forgive us for being a bit jealous at the sight of Tamara Ecclestone and family loving life on holiday in Croatia after fleeing the UK by private jet.
The Formula 1 heiress, her husband Jay Rutland and their six-year-old daughter Sophia (aka Fifi) caused controversy last week, after joining Tamara’s sister Petra, 31, and her family for a lavish holiday. The two broods were spotting in Dubrovnik, before heading aboard dad Bernie’s £28m super-yacht. But while some followers slammed Tamara’s getaway, the 35 year old remained defiant, telling followers, “For those of you who are confused or just bitter... I am half Croatian, so decided it would be best and safest to come here, which is not forbidden.” She added that she was now following local rules accordingly.
“Tamara is aware of how lucky she is and feels so fortunate to be able to go away, but she’s not ashamed of it,” says an insider close to the socialite, who’s been missing La-based Petra over the past few months. “She has obeyed lockdown rules and was able to fly to Croatia on her private jet and use her dad’s yacht. She hadn’t seen her sister or nieces and nephews in ages and this was the safest way to do it. It was also a reward for Fifi for being brilliant during quarantine. She knew she’d come under fire from some, but she’s refusing to let that get her down. She won’t be guilted into having a bad time.”
Fair play, we say. We’d probs do the same if we had a private jet at our disposal – especially if we got to quarantine in Tamara’s 57-room mansion after coming home. ■
