She thinks he could be TV’S next big thing
It’s fair to say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s move to Hollywood hasn’t been quite as peachy as they were hoping, thanks to the c-word shutting down the showbiz industry as soon as they arrived. Now, an insider close to the ex-royal couple tells heat Meghan has come up with a plan to give Harry a new focus and help him kickstart his career in the US.
“Meghan has been really concerned about Harry feeling lost in LA lately,” our source says. “It’s always somewhere she’s been very comfortable with, but she gets that it is a huge lifestyle change for him – so she’s been scrambling around trying to think of a project that will give him a purpose. One of her ideas is to turn Harry into the new Bear Grylls, and she has been pitching the idea of him having his own adventure show with other celebrities.”
The couple – who moved to California with 15-month-old son Archie – stepped down as senior royals in March before their move, and it seems 38-year-old Meghan is hoping to get some lucrative work for her husband. “She is desperate to turn him into a TV star to give him some motivation,” we’re told. “She knows it will have to be something active and exciting to get him on board, which is why she thinks Harry should take his experience of being in the army and organising the Invictus Games and turn it into a TV show.”
And while we’re told Harry is tempted by the idea of a project showing off his adventurous side,

our insider reveals that those close to Harry aren’t so sure. We’re told, “A lot of his friends back in the UK have been advising him against it. They’re worried that it could look as though they are chasing fame and fortune when their original mission was supposed to be about their charity. His mates are really feeling for him right now – they can tell that he’s not himself and can imagine he must be climbing the walls of his LA mansion without any of his friends.” ■
