Adele vs Naomi: THE BATTLE FOR SKEPTA
That’s one hell of a love triangle
While some of us are struggling to even get a Facetime date at the moment, it seems Skepta is one lucky man, as he has two internationallyfamous hotties chasing after him. A source tells heat that both Adele and Naomi Campbell are seriously interested in the rapper and vying for his attention.
“Adele is having a blast with Skepta,” says an insider close to the singer, who has reportedly been hooking up with the rapper casually since 2019. “But she’s got serious competition from Naomi. Adele insists it’s just fun, but it’s common knowledge that both she and Naomi are crazy about Skepta – and they’re both hoping for something serious.”
Adele, 32 – who split from her husband Simon Konecki last year – was spotted out in east London last week with the 38-year-old rapper and producer. The pair – along with Skepta’s pal, fellow rapper Jammer – went to a virtual reality bar where an onlooker said, “They were screaming and laughing when they were doing the VR together… It looked like they had a lot of fun.” And while our source says that “right now, it’s Adele who has the edge” with Skepta, it seems Naomi may be biding her time. The 50-year-old supermodel shared an Instagram post containing multiple pictures of her and the rapper together for his birthday last week. In her caption she wrote, “You have the most magical mind that never stops creating... and you are that loyal and supportive friend that is there when it matters... Love for you always.”
It is thought that Naomi and Skepta dated in 2018, after gracing the cover of GQ together. But Adele and Skepta have also been indulging in some social media flirting, and our source tells us there is real potential for their relationship. “They talked non-stop during lockdown, and Adele’s thrilled to be hanging out with him again now she’s back in London,” we’re told. “They picked up where they left off, basically, and it’s a go-with-the-flow situation that everyone agrees has potential for much more. He thinks the world of her, and they share a lot of the same friends.”
But Adele – who recently shared new pictures of herself and her LA friends in a post for Nicole Richie’s birthday – may have to watch her back, as Naomi is notoriously good at getting what she wants.
“From what Naomi can tell, this situation with Adele isn’t serious at all, and even if it was, it wouldn’t hold a candle to the connection she has with Skepta,” says the source. “She’s biding her time and following the situation extremely carefully. As everyone knows, Naomi is one of the most fiercely motivated people you could ever meet.” n
