Why Scott’s raging at Megan
He’s watched some Love Island reruns – and he’s not amused
Now, here’s a reality TV crossover we didn’t expect. Let’s recap: back in 2018, before Megan Barton-hanson left Love Island with new boyfriend Wes Nelson in tow, the Essex girl was romancing Eyal “I’m deeper than the Atlantic” Booker, and the two even got it on in the Hideaway. Sadly, all good things come to an end, and Megan called it off after telling him he just wasn’t that fun – before adding, “You’re not exactly Jim Carrey.” Still, water under the bridge – or so we thought.
Cut to two years later, to last week, in fact, when Megan received a surprise DM from one Scott Disick, who at first seemed to be getting flirty, prompting Megan to reply, “Hey you… what do you wanna know?” Scott then replied, “I was recently introduced to a beautiful man named Eyal. When I went to see what he’s done on TV, I was astonished by your behaviour. To find you mugging him off and taking full advantage of his unbelievably beautiful sense of humour and vulnerability.” He then told Megan that she, too, was no Jim Carrey, and demanded she make a public apology.
Joining the dots, it soon transpired that Scott has recently started romancing Amelia Hamlin, 19, whose sister Delilah, 22, is dating Eyal – making the two men sort-of brother-in-laws. And, judging by Scott’s angry message, he’s fallen hard and fast for his new-found bro.
Megan, for her part, found the whole thing rather perplexing, and something tells us Scott’s not going to get that apology. ■
