MAFS Australia ‘villain’ lets rip
We have been living for Married At First Sight Australia during LD3, and now Ines Basic has opened up about her affair with fellow contestant Sam Ball – who was married to Elizabeth Sobinoff at the time – in one of the juiciest TV spats ever witnessed. Ice queen Ines – who was paired up with Bronson Norrish – was devastated when Sam dumped her on the show, after she says he promised they’d start a new life together.
“He is the ultimate f**k boy, major,” she fumed. “Some of my friends know people that had been with him, and they say that he is an asshole. I left the whole experiment believing we would be together. It was so bad and so much pressure.”
On the show’s sixth series – which is currently being shown in the UK on C 4 – Ines and Sam were filmed hooking up and sharing a bed together behind their spouses’ backs. Sam recently claimed that their romance was “staged”, which upset Ines even more. She counter claimed, “Sam and I started off camera. When we’d finished filming, we were allowed out for a couple of hours, and I randomly walked into this bar and he was there. We just kicked it off. Then we went back to the hotel pool and we started hooking up. There was so much chemistry. The producers found out, so they had to create this storyline of me messaging him on Instagram.” Meanwhile, footage of wronged bride Elizabeth – who garnered sympathy from audiences when Sam said that she was bigger than other girls he’s dated – has emerged of her moaning that her groom looked “tubby” as she saw him at the altar.
