Where are they now? We catch up with Jules, Cam and the rest of the Married At First Sight Australia gang

They’re so happy, they got married again!

-

With all the drama between the other couples, Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant restored our faith in love and set the bar pretty high for future contestants. Almost as soon they married at the start of season six, they fell in love, got through the series without any major arguments and surprised nobody when they decided to stay together at the end. Two years on, and they’re still going strong. As marriages on the show are not legally binding, business owner Jules, 38, and cricket obsessive Cam, 37, got married for real in an intimate ceremony at Sydney’s Beta Bar and Alpha Restaurant in November 2019. The wedding was covered for Aussie TV show A Current Affair, which documented their unconventional fairy tale.

And the good news didn’t end there as, last November, the couple – who were open about their desire to have children from the off – celebrated the arrival of their first son, Oliver. Cuteness overload.

Speaking about her dreams of motherhood, Jules has said, “I honestly thought [getting pregnant] was going to come with a fight. Because of my age, I had done all the hormone testing, the egg count… so much is instilled that you’re going to struggle, because of your age. I wasn’t obsessing over it. And for that, I’m so grateful.”

The family now live in a swanky $1.8million mansion in Sydney, with its very own swimming pool. They keep their fans up to date with their idyllic life on social media – and give hope to any singletons out there who may want to sign up for the show. ■
