The singer’s revealed she’s seven months pregnant
It can be hard keeping anything a secret when you’re in the public eye, but things get slightly easier when a global pandemic has us all cooped up. So, we were delighted (but not too surprised) when Ellie Goulding, 34, resurfaced last week – sporting a seven-month baby bump. The singer looked pleased as, er, punch at a photo call with boxer Anthony Joshua for the launch for his new fashion collaboration with Boss – one day after posing for a maternity shoot with Vogue at her Gloucestershire home. Ellie, who’s expecting her first child with husband Caspar Jopling, 29, has kept schtum throughout the majority of her pregnancy. In the Vogue interview, she said she’d found out she was expecting last August – around the time that she and Caspar were celebrating their one-year anniversary. “That was not the plan,” she revealed. “The thought of getting pregnant didn’t seem like it could be a reality”
She added that she’d fully embraced the experience – including the cravings – revealing, “I actually went from being smug about how healthy my salads were and my breakfasts and eating nuts and seeds, and then all I wanted was Mcdonald’s.”
