Baby bonanza for Katie Price

‘Realistically, my age isn’t helping’
The internet broke last week when Katie Price seemed to confirm that she was expecting a baby with boyfriend Carl Woods. Posting a picture of herself cradling her tummy on Instagram, Katie told fans, “Happy and healthy. It’s the best feeling ever. I thank [Carl] for being part of me.” While fans and celeb pals congratulated her on the apparent pregnancy announcement, at the time of going to press, neither Carl nor Katie had officially confirmed it. And their “announcement” also comes in the same week that her ex-husband Kieran Hayler revealed he was going to be a dad again – as well as Katie admitting she would like four more children. Phew. The 42 year old revealed, “Mine are getting older, so I need to keep replacing them! If I could, I’d definitely like another four kids. I might be able to, but my age isn’t helping. Realistically, I’m hoping to have another two. The next will be very special.”
We’re told Katie is also looking into adoption with boyfriend Carl. “Katie feels she and Carl have a lot of love to give, and it’s something she’s always wanted,” says our source. “She also wouldn’t be fazed at adopting a child with learning difficulties or complex needs, like Harvey.”
Katie is already mum to Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and six-year-old Bunny – the youngest two of which are about to become older siblings, when dad Kieran welcomes his new baby with fiancée Michelle Penticost, who also has a son Valentino, ten.
Two years ago, Katie said she was hoping to adopt a Nigerian orphan, although she didn’t follow through on her plans, and friends say she has concerns that her financial situation would count against her, after being declared bankrupt in 2019. “She’s a bit worried her money issues could throw up problems, ” says the insider. “She always felt having kids is a way to anchor a relationship, but her friends are trying to assure her that Carl really loves her, no matter what. She’s constantly broody, though, and feels it’s now or never.”
