Olivia ‘I’VE TURNED 30 AND BECOME A GROWN-UP!’

The reality star has got it all going on

‘We want to get married this year’

She’s moved into a new house that she’s renovating from top to bottom, she’s planning her wedding to fiancé Bradley Dack, they’ve welcomed a new puppy into their lives, and she has just celebrated her 30th birthday. If only Olivia Attwood could condense her exciting life into a must-see TV series. Oh, wait…

You have just turned 30 – what does this next decade hold for you? My twenties were like nothing I could have ever dreamed of. It was a colourful period to say the least. I’m excited to be 30 and leave my twenties behind – I got everything out of them a person possibly could. I want to see what this next chapter of life has for me because it’s going to be a whole different bag. We’re living in a grown-up house now, we’ve got the dog, and work is crazy. Yeah, I’m just excited. How does it feel that you’re back for a second series of Olivia Meets Her Match? It’s crazy. Obviously, getting the first series was a dream come true. I never imagined that the reception would be what it was. It feels so surreal. This series was different because there’s so much going on. We moved, Brad’s had another injury, I’ve turned 30 and we’ve got the dog. Last series was great, and the viewers loved it, but there is so much happening in my actual life for this one. How’s all the house stuff going? All anyone’s asked me at the moment is, “How do you cope? How do you do it?” Even my builders say it to me. On any given day, there could be ten to 12 people in my house. We have a [film] crew of about four, then we have all the workmen, and they are there every day. Some days, I’m just like, “This is my life,” and I take it in my stride. Other times, I’m locking myself in the toilet for ten minutes just to have a moment alone! You have Lola [the dog], too, now. Do you feel like a proper pawrent? I catch myself doing things and think, “Wow, I’m a full-on dog mum.” Brad and I have both always had dogs, so it’s just slipping back into what you already know. You can’t do anything without considering them, but it’s 100 per cent worth it. She’s perfect. Are you still trying to plan your wedding? You’ll see on the show that it’s a running theme for the first few episodes. We’re trying to make something happen this summer, but it depends on the restrictions. We want to get married this year, so watch this space, basically. ■
