Louise steps up her search for Mr Right

She’s downloading all the apps to find The One

‘She’s had it with feeling like she’s been left behind’

She’s been open about the challenges she’s faced learning how to date in the modern world – after all, the last time she was single, the internet was still dial-up. But Louise Redknapp isn’t letting a few setbacks in the big bad world of online dating stop her giving love a second try. In fact, she’s upping her game.

According to our insider, the singer is fed up of seeing her ex-husband Jamie – with whom she shares two sons, Charley, 16, and Beau, 12 – so happy with his new girlfriend Frida Anderssonlourie, while she remains single. Apparently, she’s downloading all the apps, calling in favours from friends, and even toying with the idea of joining a celebrity dating show in the not-too-distant future, all in the hope of finally meeting Mr Right.

“Louise has had it with feeling like she’s been left behind,” says an insider close to the 46 year old, who ended her 19-year marriage to Jamie in 2017 and has since spoken about struggling to move on. “So she’s joined dating apps like Raya and Bumble – especially as things are slowly returning to normal and she can hopefully get some hot dates lined up. She’s also been asking a lot of her celeb friends like Cat Deeley and [former Eternal bandmate] Kéllé Bryan to set her up. She’d love to go on a blind date with someone else in the public eye, who isn’t threatened by dating someone famous.”

Earlier this year, Louise released her book You’ve Got

This, in which she spoke about being ghosted after taking tentative steps into online dating. “The new world of dating is so opaque and difficult to navigate,” she said. “It’s so easy to feel you’ve done or said something wrong, when in reality it’s not on you.” But while her early attempts weren’t a runaway success, our sources tell us she has a renewed sense of determination – especially after seeing endless pictures of Jamie and Frida looking loved-up while out and about in London. As heat has previously told you, she’s hoping to eventually marry again – and now she’s ready to be proactive.

“Louise isn’t bitter about Jamie and Frida, she just wants the same happiness for herself,” says our insider. “She’s even said that she would do a dating show, and is keen to do more reality TV, as she reckons that it’s a good place to meet guys in this industry. She just wants someone trustworthy, who will treat her with care and respect.” n
