The pair want to get their own back on Kris
Caitlyn Jenner’s recent announcement that she is running for governor of California has been met with deafening silence from the Kardashians, none of whom have come out to support her campaign. However, now that he is no longer an integral member of the family, it seems Kanye West is happy to offer his support – especially if it pisses off their exes.
An insider tells heat, “It was Cait who supported Kanye’s run for President when everyone else thought it was a joke. Their bond goes way back and Kanye’s offering to campaign for Cait, bankroll her and pull out all the stops to rally support for her. He’s not surprised the Kardashians are distancing themselves from it and wants to stand together with Cait against the evil of Kris and Kim.”
While it seems that Caitlyn and the Kardashians aren’t fully aligned politically – Republican Caitlyn initially supported Trump, while Kim previously backed Hillary Clinton – it seems politics aren’t the only reason there’s still a divide between them. “They’d never admit it, but it’s common knowledge both Caitlyn and Kanye are on a mission to prove to the family that they’re more than capable of making a success of themselves without being beholden or indebted to Kris or Kim,” we’re told. “Kanye is just as irate at the idea that anyone would just think of him for being married to Kim when he’s made billions redefining music and building a brand that the Kardashians had nothing to do with. He and Cait are both proud people, and it really burns them that they’ve been taken for granted by Kris and co – in their minds, anyway.” n
