Britney tells Jamie Lynn: ‘Lose my number’

The rift between the sisters won’t be healed

The emancipation of Britney Spears has been a long and rocky road, and the tension between the singer and her family continues. The 40 year old recently unfollowed her younger sister Jamie Lynn on social media after blasting her family for the “hurt” they have caused her. Last month, Britney wrote on Instagram, “I’m here to remind my white ‘classy’ family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me, nor will I ever forget!”

And now, we’re told, Brit has cut all ties to her 30-year-old sister. “This has been building for a while, but Jamie Lynn’s new memoir [Things I Should Have Said, out next week], plus her ongoing support for their parents, has pushed Britney over the edge,” an insider tells heat. “She’s lost virtually all respect for her sister – she doesn’t trust her motives, and has told her not to contact her. She and Jamie Lynn haven’t been close for a long time, and she’s no fan of their older brother Bryan either, who has also benefitted from

Britney’s money over the years. She’s through with all of her family right now.”

Back in June 2021, when Britney told a judge she wanted to sue her family, Jamie Lynn spoke out, saying, “I’ve only loved, adored, and supported my sister” – but we’re told it would take a lot from both siblings to heal this rift. “Britney’s moving on with her life with zero involvement from family,” our source explains. “She wants to weed out people from her circle who she feels she can’t trust, and sadly Jamie Lynn falls into that category. It’s highly unlikely she’ll get an invite to Britney’s wedding.” ■
