‘I need candles and a chick flick’
What does self-care look like for you?
On a self-care day, we need candles burning. I love scents and fragrances. It has to be Yankee Candle in Vanilla Cupcake. I would also need a chick flick in front of me on the TV, and I’d have a Domino’s.
What does your skincare routine look like?
I wear make-up every day and I wish I could snap my fingers and it would be off. Forget money and genies, I want to be able to snap my make-up off! My biggest tip is to not remove your make-up with wipes. I use Clinique’s Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm [£22.50]. It’s so gentle on skin and it just melts your make-up off. I used it every day in the villa.
Any budget beauty buys?
I love Weleda Skin Food, which was introduced to me by the girls on Love Island [Mary Bedford and Chloe Burrows are both big fans]. I use it as a primer and it’s so good. It really hydrates the skin and gives you a healthy glow.
Do you journal?
I make a vision board at the start of every year and update as it goes along. I’m big on journalling – I picked it up in lockdown. When everyone was doing Chloe Ting workouts and baking, I was like, “OK, what can I do that doesn’t require me to sweat or get confused?” I’m really not the best baker, but I do try.
Are you into meditation?
I like to go on hour-long walks, while listening to music. It keeps me very zen and peaceful. I love listening to old-school R&B – it’s my favourite genre.
What your fave podcast?
The Receipts Podcast. It’s hosted by three girls in London. I love that they became friends through social media. I’m such a girl’s girl and I love when women come together and work together.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Liberty [Poole, her Love Island BFF] told me, “No one should ever make you feel small”. I am bigger than I think I am, always. ■
