Fears as ‘suicide note’ found at beauty spot
POLICE in Totnes have appealed for help after finding what appeared to be a suicide note at a local beauty spot.
They have taken to social media in an effort to trace whoever wrote the note and left it at Longmarsh, propped up against a tree with a statuette beside it.
“We are concerned for the welfare of this individual,” they said. The note was discovered by a walker at Longmarsh. It read: “If you have a minute on your walk, read me. Be grateful for who you have.” Police said other excerpts within the letter included: ‘Dear whoever is watching over me, I feel so low, I don't know where my life is going. Is suicide cowardice’?”
The spokesman continued: “We are concerned for the welfare of this individual. We have no missing persons in Totnes and a search of Longmarsh was negative.” Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting log 756 13/09/2018.
