Ladies’ views important

-

THE RECENT emailer who is ‘happy & secure’, I’d encourage to aid their offspring with perhaps a little of their obvious wisdom, not just keep their view to themselves.

I agree that it seems like it is only older geezers spouting off but are the ladies reserving their judgement? Or perhaps being suppressed by their own old geezers?

Anyway, their calm and considered input at this important time is urgently required.

The young are extremely well represented on social media in all its forms, you might not be surprised to learn. And very clued up and literate too.

Most of us are not ‘secure’, we all rely on public services at some time, and my view is that more of the same will NOT be good enough. Much more money and investment is required.

Lots of things colour our views and one of the best questions I’ve come across is: “Who makes most of the laws we have to live by and can we sack them?”

If the answer is no, then we are in the hands of a dictatorship. The EU and its over-arching Court of Justice create and administer more than half our laws and we cannot sack them. British courts have to obey.

This is plainly wrong and Britain has to break away now for those young people to be able to govern their own futures. They will be better judges than the EU of how and where to spend our money and of who will either run matters properly or be sacked by them in a general election.

Just a note on the letter from the Hinckley Labour Party campaigning to remain in the EU. They fail to say that there is also a Labour Out campaign, whatever the leaders might prefer. And this vote is way more important than a party matter.

Wise old birds or scary young things, watch Brexit:The Movie for an hour. Vote how you like but learn something first. Ian, by email
