Two village writers to give author talk

TWO novelists from Desford are giving an author talk at Newbold Verdon Library tonight.

Stewart Bint and DM Cain will be chatting about how they became novelists and what inspires them to write, as well as discussing their latest books. DM Cain, a former teacher who spent some time living in Japan, is currently working on her third novel in an 18 book series.

The first book, a Chronicle of Chaos, was publish in 2014 and the second one, The Shield of Soren, is due out shortly.

She has also written a children’s novel and a dystopian tale entitled The Phoenix Project.

Bint, a former radio broadcaster who now works in public rela- tions, is best known for his time travel thriller Timeshaft and paranormal horror novel In Shadows Waiting.

His satirical novel The Jigsaw And The Fan is due out in paperback and ebook format later this year.

Both writers also have short stories in an anthology produced by worldwide authors group The Awethors, which DM co-founded.

The pair will be answering questions about their writing, their publishers and will reveal snippets from their latest books, as well as discussing the unusual way they met.

The talk begins at 7.30pm at the village library on Main Street.
