Latest Hinckley Golf Club results

THE RESULTS are in for several competitions at Hinckley Ladies Golf Club.

In the Mr Captains tournament, Annette Cattermole and Rita Watts took first, with Andrena Porter and Ann Armstrong second and Judy Matharu and Shelagh Neave in third.

Trudie Allen scooped the nearest pin prize, while Ann Armstrong clocked the longest drive.

In the PING Fourball Betterball Qualifier, Andrena Porter and Judy Matharu took gold, while Annette Cattermole and Trudie Allen took silver.

Sandra Baum was crowned the overall winner in the Founder Members Bowl, while Annette Cattermole and Rita Watts finished first and second respectively in the first division. Denise Mather took first in division two with Elaine Ebbage in second.

Meanwhile Breeda Lester was the overall winner in the Joyce Faulkner Trophy.

In the Ryley Cup, Sandra Bloor was crowned the overall winner, with Annette Cattermole winning division one, Shelagh Neave clinching division two and Margaret Longdon winning division three.

In the Ladies Day 18 hole Stableford, Helen Woodward came first, followed by Beth Acey, Sandra Baum and Hazel Coulson.

Finally in the Centenary Cup, Ann Armstrong added to her impressive tally by scooping the overall prize. In division one, Andrena Porter took gold, while Ellie York took silver. Sue Deeney won division two, while Judy Matharu came second and Sheila Chave won division three. The longest drive went to Ellie York, nearest pin to Andrena Porter and best putting was awarded to Fay Clegg.
