Stunning Victorian three storey

-

THIS has to be one of the best examples of a late Victorian terrace to be listed in Hinckley.

The attention to detail to be sympathetic to the period, yet bring a contemporary feel and functionality to this beautiful home is to be admired. No expense has been spared in its renovation - cast iron bespoke radiators, refurbished sash windows with bespoke window shutters, refurbished cast iron period fireplaces, stripped and varnished floorboards and original Victorian quarry tiles in both the kitchen and gardens.

This is a three bedroom, three storey property, with high ceilings, two sizeable reception rooms on the ground floor, along with the kitchen and utility, and a few steps down to the shower room.

The gas pipes have all been replaced, along with a new combi boiler in 2013. Most walls have either been plastered or skimmed. Chimney stacks have been re-pointed and flaunching refurbished.

New wooden worktops have been installed in the Kitchen, decorative stained glass window sourced for the shower room and some minor electrical improvements.

The porch offers a buffer through to the sitting room, with its feature fireplace and large, attractive shuttered bay window. A door leads past the staircase and onto the lounge, again with feature fireplace, large sash window and sizeable understairs storage cupboard.

On the first floor is the master bedroom with original fireplace, large shuttered bay window and its own secret dressing room, incorporating two-tier hanging storage and shelving.

Across the landing is the amazing bathroom, a huge room with beautifully laid out period white suite with free standing bath, basin and high level WC.

On the second floor is a huge second double bedroom with shuttered windows and original fireplace, and across the landing a third double bathroom with access to the roof space, which is partly boarded and fully insulated.
