Artist offers multi-media demonstration to society
A LIFELIKE picture of a Scottish wildcat in pastels was produced by artist Diane Sinclair during a demonstration for Hinckley and District Society of Arts, of which she is a member.
The group’s next demonstration evening, on Monday September 12, will again be led by a member, as Kay Putterfill will be sharing the secrets of using mixed media to maximum effect.
Acrylics, water colours, oils and pencils will all be employed during her presentation.
She currently has three paintings on show at Hinckley’s Ten2 Gallery’s summer exhibition and has sold paintings around the world.
The demonstration evening will be held at Burbage Congregational Church hall on Church Street, Burbage, from 7pm to 9pm, with light refreshments provided.
Non-members will be welcome on payment of £5 admission.
For more information contact group secretary Paul Wilkinson by emailing secretary@ hadsart.co.uk or calling Hinckley 614910 or 07944 968966.

These sessions are open to all for a charge of £2.
