Car will accelerate community work

-

STAFF from Hinckley Leisure Centre will be getting out and about promoting health and well-being thanks to a partnership with a car dealership.

Research Garage, located on London Road, Hinckley, has donated a brand new Peugeot 208 for use by personnel at the Argents Mead complex.

They will use it to attend and participate in local charity events, sports matches and school and college fresher fairs across the Hinckley and Bosworth area.

Emma Hopkins, marketing and sports development manager at the centre, said: “The Peugeot 208 will be a huge asset to the leisure centre and we are very grateful to Research Garage for providing us the car. Not only will it assist us in our day-to-day events but it will help us to continue to support our community in many ways.”

Dealer principal Ian RawsonMackenzie, said: “The whole team is passionate about engaging with local businesses and there is no better team to partner with than our local leisure centre.

“The centre plays an important role in keeping the community active and it’s great that one of our very own Peugeot 208s will help them in its everyday activities.”

The £15 million centre opened in May and features a swimming pool, gym and sports hall and is also home to a range of workout classes and kids’ activities.
