The best cafes in the county... but where are our local ones?
GELATO Village in Leicester is Leicestershire’s best coffee shop according to TripAdvisor.
The shop, located in Martins Square, comes top of the list on the world famous reviews portal with an average of five stars across 437 public reviews.
This makes it the best reviewed coffee shop in the county according to TripAdvisor’s rankings and means it is the people’s choice when selecting a place to sit back and relax.
One recent reviewer on the site gave Gelato Village a five star review saying: “Possibly the best place for gelato in the UK. Best thing is their choice of vegan sorbettos, the chocolate one is to die for! Amazingly friendly staff, super kid friendly and very clean! It is a regular place for us to go for a treat.”
The second best reviewed coffee shop in Leicestershire was The Courtyard Cafe in Ashby-de-la-Zouch while St Martins Tea and Coffee Merchants in Leicester was third.
But there are no entries from Hinckley and Bosworth.
The closest to Hinckley is the Garden Barn in Lutterworth in 10th place.
