Labour’s county candidate chosen
A NEW candidate has been chosen to represent Labour for Earl Shilton during next year’s county council elections.

In her selection speech Christine stressed the need for a councillor who would work to ensure that as Earl Shilton grows there are enough facilities, doctors, schools and infrastructure to support local families.
The town is set to expand rapidly over the next few years with development starting on the Earl Shilton SUE.
Christine told local members that while new houses needed to be built they had to be right for the people of Earl Shilton and the town needed adequate facilities to serve the people who lived there.
