If you want to sell your house next year, start plans now

-

KEY to selling your property early next year is marketing now, says local estate agency Connells in Hinckley.

Homeowners are advised to get everything in place and be ready for a seasonal surge in visits to leading property websites over the Christmas holidays, when prospective buyers make plans for the forthcoming year.

Last year, popular websites Rightmove and Zoopla both experienced a spike in activity over the Christmas holidays, as people started their search for a new home online.

Rightmove received a staggering eight million visits to its site over the festive period and Zoopla recorded 7.2 million visits to its website in the window between Christmas and New Year.

The team at Connells is urging homeowners to instruct an agent now to ensure their property receives maximum exposure during what is expected to be another busy Christ- mas time.

“Homeowners need to make sure their properties are on the market and listed online in time for this seasonal rush,” says Stephen Haskins, branch manager for Connells, Hinckley.

“The internet is the first port of call for many prospective home buyers, so choosing an agent who can help to market your property to its full potential and ensure maximum exposure is extremely important.

“At Connells, we know how to make your property stand out at one of the busiest online times of the year.

“If one of your goals for next year is moving home, be proactive now and don’t delay in getting in touch with us to see how we can get your property sold.”

Anyone with property to sell who would like to book a free market appraisal with Connells should contact the branch on Hinckley 230523 or email Hinckley@connells.co.uk
