-

A HINCKLEY firm is celebrating after it retained an accreditation for the way it invests in its workforce.

Based in Dodwells Bridge Industrial Estate, Checkprint provides securely printed financial documents such as cheques, credits and certificates for a wide-range of firms.

Now, 15 years after it was first accredited, the firm has been given the Investors in People Accreditation, by a rating agency which determines how well people are treated at work.

The Investors in People Standard provides a practical framework for improving business per- formance and competitiveness through good practice in people management.

Checkprint, which employs more than 40 people at its site in Alan Bray Close, earned special praise for displaying high levels of openness and honesty.

Martin Ruda, Managing Director of The TALL Group of Companies, said: “We are delighted with the feedback from our staff. Reading through the report, it is clear to see that Checkprint is a company that allows people to progress and flourish.

“It is also important for our staff to feel they can approach and learn from both the directors and the senior management team in Hinckley; receiving positive feedback on this was particularly pleasing.”

The latest accreditation is valid for three years.

Checkprint is part of the TALL Group of Companies, the UK leader in the provision of secure paper and electronic payment solutions.

The firm has managed the Barclays Special Cheque and Credit Service since 1994 and the company has established and developed significant contracts with many other leading financial institutions including Nationwide Building Society and Metro Bank.
