PUCKERING up to delight audiences this January is the classic tale of The Frog Prince.

Coming to Hinckley’s Concordia Theatre from Wednesday January 11 until Saturday February 4, the pantomime is sure to captivate and enthral audiences both young and old.

The first Kingdom is ruled over by King Impecunia, who lives under the thumb of his wife, Queen Penny the Lesser. The pair have just celebrated the birth of a new baby, Prince Paragon.

The other realm is the fabulously wealthy Kingdom of Splendora, which is rich in treasures including gold mines, diamond mines, and oil fields.

Here, King Quidsin rules the land, but the evil Lady Morgana, who is famed for casting spells and bewitching people, has her eyes on the land and its wealth. The not-so-happy couple have also welcomed a new baby, Princess Lily.

The pantomime fast forwards 17 years as Paragon and Lily are destined to meet.

However, will they end up together, or will one of Morgana’s meddling spells stand in the way of true love?
