Spring is good news for sellers according to Hinckley estate agents

-

GET your property on the market now if you’re serious about selling, says local estate agency Connells in Hinckley.

According to the branch, the spring period is traditionally one of the busiest times of the year for searching for property. As people shake off the cobwebs of winter and the weather gets warmer, potential buyers will be out in force looking for a new home.

“Spring is a great time to sell,” said Stephen Haskins, branch manager at Connells, Hinckley. “Not only are properties a lot more aesthetically pleasing in the better weather, but increased appetite to move during the spring period means sellers will have more prospective buyers competing to buy their home making it more likely you will achieve the best price.”

Connells traditionally experiences a spike in buyer interest during the spring period and, since 2014, has recorded on average 19% more people registering their interest in a new home each March compared to the previous month.

Connells also currently has nearly 12 buyers registered for each property that comes onto the market.

“We almost always see a rush of buyers entering the market in springtime,” adds Stephen. “It seems that many feel inspired by the warmer weather and longer days to start making plans for the future, including looking for a new home. We’re advising home owners to get their property on the market now and take advantage of the high demand for homes – sellers are in a strong position to achieve a good price and a quick sale.”
