Taking a walk through the history books

THERE will be a long way to go and lots to learn during a special walk in Bosworth next Sunday (April 2).

Entitled The Path to Bosworth Field, the guided ramble takes in 12km of Leicestershire countryside along with a look back at the 1485 battle which changed the course of English history.

Starting at 9.30am on Sunday April 2 the walk is geared towards experienced walkers aged over 15.

Booking is essential to save a spot and costs £17 with concessions at £12.

Participants are asked to provide their own refreshments and packed lunch. The walk is expected to finish around 4pm.
