Reading group

A GROUP at Hinckley library is helping people get back into reading.

The shared reading group is aimed at those who struggle to read or find stories difficult to follow.

Poems and stories are read out, with time for discussion afterwards. There’s no homework and it’s completely free.

Attendees can come as much or as little as they like to the “friendly and light-hearted” session.

The library, in Lancaster Road, is looking for another volunteer to assist group leader Ian, in reading out loud and leading the discussions.

The group meets every Tuesday from 1pm to 2.30pm.
