New face for town team
AN EXPERIENCED retail manager has been appointed as Hinckley’s assistant town centre manager.
John Coward has an established background working in head office and store management for big chains Marks and Spencer and Tesco.
His main priority will be to work with his Business Improvement District (BID) colleagues in supporting local enterprises.
They will also collaborate on creating more events to boost footfall in the centre of Hinckley, and developing it into an attractive shopping area.
John said: “Being a proud resident of Hinckley, I am delighted to be part of the Town Centre team.
“I look forward to working with the local businesses and building on the excellent work achieved to date.”
Steve Wegerif from Hinckley BID said: “We welcome John’s appointment and look forward to working together to make Hinckley Town Centre even more attractive to visitors.”
