Rod night helps air ambulance

-

A ROD STEWART tribute act took centre stage at a charity fundraising event in support of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance.

Barwell Constitutional Club was the setting for the event, which saw Garry Pease perform as the veteran rocker known for hits such as Maggie May, Sailing and Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?

Among the audience were volunteer supporters of the three counties air ambulance service, who went round with collecting buckets on the night.

The event, which included a raffle, was organised by Carol and Barry Pateman and raised a total of £1,055 for the cause.
