Museum in city hosts workshops on Saturdays
THE Jewry Wall Museum is hosting a series of jewellery making workshops.
You will be given the chance to work with a jewellery-maker and friend of the museum to create your very own beautiful jewellery.
It is an ideal gift for a loved one, or yourself!
Be inspired by the ancient treasures on display and get creative, following the instructions to create your pieces and then decorate your jewellery to whatever style you wish.
The museum contains one of Leicester’s most famous land marks, the Jewry Wall, part of the Roman town’s public baths.
It is one of the tallest surviving pieces of Roman masonry in the country.
You don’t need any experience to come to the workshops, but advance booking is essential, each workshop is £15 which includes all of the equipment to use, light refreshments will also be available.
