Books fondly remembered

LADYBIRD books were the subject of a talk to Earl Shilton WI by Biff Raven Hill, who took along some early titles to prompt members’ memories.

The group’s next meeting will be on Monday May 1 at 7.30pm in the Pelican Centre, High Street, Earl Shilton, when members will discuss the resolutions to be considered at the National Federation of WI’s annual meeting in Liverpool in June.
