Car dumped and set alight

ARSONISTS are thought to have set fire to a car after dumping it in a field in Desford.

A member of the public raised the alarm over the burning vehicle after spotting it at around 9.45pm on Saturday May 20.

Two appliances were sent out, one from Southern and one from Western, with firefighters donning breathing apparatus and using a hose reel jet to put out the flames.

The incident in Lindridge Lane was passed over to the police.
