Service needs recruits

-

THE AIR Ambulance service is looking for new recuits.

The Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance is looking for volunteers able to contribute two to three hours a month.

The charity needs helpers to monitor collection tins in their communities.

Volunteers need to have a confident, friendly and proactive attitude, and have basic IT skills and internet access.

An added bonus of being a collection tin volunteer is that you can be flexible about what you do the work. Richardson, Fundraising Manager said: “Collection tins play a vital role in keeping our aircraft in the skies.

“The pennies really do add up to help us to continue providing our lifesaving service.”

The charity’s critical care paramedics, trauma doctors and pilots fly an average of three rescue missions a day.
