Flowers to fill Stoke church

FLORAL arrangements on the theme of Our Village Life With Echoes of the Past will fill Stoke Golding Methodist Church during Bank Holiday weekend Saturday May 27 to Monday May 29.

Displays will represent village groups and organisations and reflect how they have developed over the years.

The church will be open to visitors from 10am to 5.30pm on the Saturday and Bank Holiday Monday and from noon to 5.30pm on the Sunday.

Refreshments will be available each day, with Ploughman’s lunches and cream teas incuded on Saturday and Monday.

Sunday services will be led by John Cooke at 10.30am and the Rev Wes Hampton at 6pm.
