AN INSPIRATIONAL Hinckley model and her pals have stripped down to shoot a cheeky charity calendar to raise money in memory of her aunt.

Former Take Me Out star Jodie Carnall has created a 2018 lingerie calendar with a group of friends to support The Brain Tumour Charity, just one month after her aunt died from the illness.

The calendars cost £8 each and feature sides for both male and female fans to enjoy.

This will be Jodie’s sec- ond charity calendar and contains cheeky shots of fellow Take Me Out Girls Andrea Marshall and Hollie Bunyan, as well as reality TV contestant and star of Coach Trip, Bobby O’Singh, model and inspirational speaker Celestia Barby, professional models Jake Roberts and Gabriella Grigo, and Mr Coventry 2017, Oliver Sweenie Rowe. Jodie’s Hinckley pals have also agreed to star in the latest calendar.

Jodie, 25, said that she would like to shift 600 copies, raising £2,400 in the process. She added that created the calendar had made her very emotional, saying: “My aunty Kay was diagnosed with a brain tumour a year and a half ago and bravely battled ever since, she never once complained and continued to live life to the full.

“Sadly, she recently lost her battle and passed peacefully with us all who loved her by her side. She is an inspiration to me.

“I’ve always enjoyed fundraising and helping to support charities, but it’s become much more personal to me now. This is done of memory of my aunty.

“I am so overwhelmed with all the support I have received and every time I think of everybody who has helped me I get very emotional. I am just so thankful.

“We completed the photoshoot at VIP Boss Studios Leicester on Saturday May 6. It was very crazy and hectic with over 30 people in the studio but it was a fantastic day and everybody was great and a pleasure to work with.

“I had some amazing local MUA’s and hair stylists - Zoe Hooper, Hannah Dakin, Jade Snelson, Mili Fox, Rebecca Claire, Jade Lee Taylor. They made all the models look fantastic and they were all an absolute pleasure to work with.

“I am very lucky to have kindly received sponsors both for last years calendar and this years calendar.

“Stottie Shop have donated £50, JHEEZ cloth- ing have donated £50 and have provided clothing for the calendar, and Jennie Sharpe, owner of JK Equestrian, has donated £100 which has covered the studio hire costs.”

Jodie said that she would also like to thank photographer Lauren Wright, and Celestia Barby, who owns the studios.
