Learn about college course at open night

THERE’S a chance to find out more about courses available at the Hinckley college campus today.

The centre on Hinckely’s Lower Bond Street will be open from 4pm to 6pm today (Wednesday June 21) for anyone wanting details of creative and arts subjects.

A similar event takes place at the North Warwickshi­re and Hinckley College building in Nuneaton today also between 5pm and 8pm.

The events are aimed at those looking to start a full-time, parttime or apprentice­ship programme from September 2017.

The Hinckley session is followed by the college’s annual fashion show at 7pm and creative arts exhibition where students from across department­s demonstrat­e fashion, music and media skills in a catwalk event and showcase.

Tracey Forman, group director for student experience and support at the college said: “Whether you are leaving school this summer or are an adult looking to upskill or retrain this is the perfect chance to find out about the wide range of career options available.

“Our full-time and part-time courses cover a huge range of sectors and are designed to fully prepare you for your dream career, whether you aim to go onto university level study, further training or full-time employment.

“Our apprentice­ship hub will also be packed full of informatio­n. These programmes are ideal for those who want to work as a paid employee while working towards their qualificat­ion.”

The college’s guidance team will be on hand to provide free, impartial advice on careers as well as on learning and financial support.
