Animal interactions come to village centre

-

PET a racoon, come face to face with a snake and mess about with a meerkat - that’s just some of the potential fun on offer when a special animal interaction event comes to a village hub.

Bagworth Community Centre is hosting a visit from the folks at Desford based organisation The Party Animals Ltd targeted especially at youngsters.

The team will be bringing along some furry friends and reptiles to the centre between 10am and 1pm on Saturday August 12.

Community centre administrator Clair Feliciant said: “Children will have the chance to meet and greet the animals which will include foxes, snakes, lizards to meerkats, coatimundi and rac- coon and lots of different insects.

“Get your questions ready to learn all about your favourite animal, and have your photo taken with them.”

All animals are given full checks on the morning of any appointment to ensure they are fit, happy and healthy and ready to meet the waiting fans. This means there may be surprises in store on the animal visiting list.

Tickets are £4 per child for an hour with the animals and must be purchased in advance to secure a time slot. Due to the nature of the event numbers will be limited and will be on a first come first served basis.

Tickets are available now email clair@bagworthcommunitycentre.org for more details.
